To coincide with Gas Safety Week 2022, we thought we’d demonstrate how Oneserve supports the housing sector in meeting their gas servicing requirements
Our gas servicing solution enables collaborative working. It offers complete visibility end-to-end with client, contractor, back-office staff and engineers all accessing and using the system at appropriate points in the processes.
Inbuilt intelligent scheduling
For scheduled servicing, such as annual gas safety checks, jobs are created automatically based on dates. Intelligent scheduling then optimises each appointment by configuring job, resources, workforce availability and drive time. An appointment notification is sent to customers via their chosen method – letter, SMS text or email.
Rescheduling and updates happen in real time with revisions sent directly to each field worker’s mobile device.
Mobile field service app
The Oneserve mobile app works on any device and enables engineers to complete LGSRs (Landlords Gas Safety Records) on site. This not only saves time but also creates a real-time electronic audit trail which meets all compliance requirements. LGSR certificates can then be exported as PDFs for the end customer and saved against the job as evidence.
Using the Oneserve real-time reporting dashboard, users can collaborate easily and manage servicing jobs to completion.
Oneserve’s field service management software and flexible gas servicing solution gives client-partners the ability to create a gas servicing work stream which is quick to implement and delivers excellent organisational results.
Oneserve’s client-partner MCP have been helping communities with social housing maintenance for 40 years. They provide integrated repairs and maintenance, gas & electrical compliance servicing and installation, aid & adaptations and cyclical & capital works for over 20 clients in the social housing sector throughout London, the East and the South East. Since implementing Oneserve, MCP has significantly improved the number of jobs completed per day, reduced its engineers’ travel time and achieved 100% compliance on gas and electrical testing.
How our work supports the aims of Gas Safety Week
Gas Safety Week week aims to raise awareness of the dangers of poorly maintained gas appliances, which can cause gas leaks, fires, explosions and carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning.
Landlords are required to carry out gas safety checks on their properties annually: a Gas Safe registered engineer completes the work and provides tenants with a gas safety certificate.
Using our field service management software and flexible gas servicing solution, Housing organisations have the systems and processes they need to ensure a highly-effective gas process for both scheduled servicing and routine gas maintenance. All the while keeping their tenants safe – and at the same time taking customer satisfaction, compliance and evidence levels to an all time high.
