The Challenge

Regenerating void properties is a significant service for Sovini, which they offer to three of their main social housing clients. With such a large portfolio and workload, they soon recognised they could improve efficiencies within their voids process.

Having information stored across multiple platforms and mediums made it difficult to track and review team performance, an issue further hindered by a lack of real-time data.

Without this fundamental access to operational data, which crucially wasn’t being stored centrally on one system, collaboration between the teams wasn’t as strong as it could be.

Employing a system capable of centralising their data and processes was therefore imperative to improving their service delivery.

The Solution

It was important for Sovini to reduce the time taken to complete repairs and maintenance on each of their void properties, so Oneserve configured a bespoke solution specific to their voids process.

All job data is now stored in a single system, from an engineer completing a job, to recording the use of parts. As such, Sovini now has complete visibility of each operatives’ progress, as well as the progress of the property itself.

Oneserve collates information from the start of a job through to completion. Sovini access this information, in real time, via intuitive reports and dashboards, giving them sight of the information they need at the drop of a hat.

The Result

Oneserve connects everyone working on Sovini’s void projects to ensure progress is maintained at an efficient pace. For example, once a surveyor completes their work, they send an order to the central Sovini team. The team then allocates work to an operative, who in turn uses Oneserve to mark project elements as complete when necessary. All of this data is easily visible, on demand.

By using an all inclusive system to manage their voids process, Sovini has become much more efficient at turning around empty properties.
